苹果粥 Apple porridge

美好的一天始于简单且美味的疗愈食物。这一款苹果粥是谷物的最佳代替品。

Apple porridge

 

There’s something so delightful about starting the day with a simple bowl of hearty goodness that’s specifically geared to help you heal. This flavor-packed Apple Porridge skips the grains for a delicious bowl of fruit-based satisfaction. This recipe comes straight out of my new book Thyroid Healing.

 

There are six ingredients in this wonderful recipe that are included in Thyroid Healing because of their undiscovered and unknown healing properties that are helpful for thyroid problems and many other types of symptoms and conditions.

 

Apples are anti-inflammatory for the thyroid because they starve the pathogen that causes thyroid problems. When their pectin enters the digestive system, it releases phytochemicals that bind onto the pathogen, shrouding the virus cells so that they can’t feed and proliferate. Dates contain potassium, magnesium, and glucose that support your endocrine system. Dates help to purge the liver of debris often caused by the waste matter of the pathogen that causes thyroid problems. They also trigger peristaltic action, helping the intestinal tract to squeeze and push out multiple varieties of waste that can burden the body when trying to heal.

 

Raw honey is the best replenishing fuel there is to feed and revitalize the thyroid. The glucose and other nutrients in raw honey practically get mainlined into the thyroid to feed the gland. Medical science doesn’t yet have its finger on the pulse of the symbiotic relationship between honey and the thyroid. An antiviral, too, that helps fight the pathogen that causes thyroid problems with its zinc content.

Lemons improve digestion by raising levels of hydrochloric acid (good acid) in the gut. Tone the intestinal lining, cleanse the liver, and offer replenishing calcium to prevent osteoporosis when the pathogen that causes thyroid problems prompts nodule formation throughout the body, which uses up calcium stores. Lemons also balance sodium levels in the blood, which allows for electrolytes to become active and improves the neurotransmitter activity that has been hampered by the pathogen's neurotoxins causing brain fog and other neurological symptoms.

 

Walnuts hold antiviral and antibacterial phytochemical compounds that inhibit the pathogen from proliferating in the liver, spleen, and thyroid.

 

Coconut is antiviral and anti-inflammatory. Coconut kills the pathogen's cells and reduces nodule growth. It also helps support the central nervous system from exposure to the pathogen's neurotoxins.

 

Apple Porridge with Cinnamon & Raisins

 

Ingredients:

* 3 apples, sliced

* ¼ teaspoon cinnamon

* 1 pinch vanilla bean powder

* 2 dates, pitted

* 1 teaspoon honey (optional)

* ½ lemon

* ½ cup raisins

* ¼ cup walnuts (optional)

* ¼ cup shredded coconut (optional)

 

Directions:

Combine the apples, cinnamon, vanilla bean powder, dates, honey, and the juice of the lemon in a food processor. Process all of the ingredients together until they are just combined. Pour the apple mixture into a bowl and stir in the raisins, walnuts, and shredded coconut if desired. Serve and enjoy!

* Feel free to get creative and figure out what toppings you like the most! Try different toppings on different days to get a variety of nutrients and flavors.
